At TC Game Australia, we are committed to providing genuine, high-quality trading cards, collectibles, and accessories. If you experience an issue with your order, we’re here to help.

This Returns & Refund Policy explains your rights and the conditions under which returns, replacements, and refunds may be accepted.

1. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

You are entitled to a replacement, repair, or refund if a product:

  • Is faulty or defective.
  • Is significantly different from its description.
  • Is not of acceptable quality.
  • Does not perform as reasonably expected.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

2. Change of Mind Returns

We understand that sometimes you may change your mind.

We may accept change-of-mind returns provided that:

  • The return request is made within 14 days of delivery.
  • The item is unopened, unused, and in its original sealed packaging.
  • The product is in resaleable condition.
  • Proof of purchase is provided.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

3. Trading Card Products

Due to the collectible and random nature of trading card products, we cannot accept returns or refunds for:

  • Opened booster packs
  • Opened booster boxes
  • Opened Elite Trainer Boxes
  • Opened collection boxes
  • Opened starter decks
  • Products where the factory seal has been broken

We cannot offer refunds because the desired cards were not obtained.

Random card distribution is determined entirely by the manufacturer.

4. Faulty or Incorrect Products

If you receive:

  • A damaged item
  • A defective product
  • An incorrect item
  • An item missing from your order

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the product and packaging

Once assessed, we will arrange a suitable remedy, which may include a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund where required.

5. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned unless required by Australian Consumer Law:

  • Opened trading card products
  • Gift Cards
  • Digital products
  • Downloadable content
  • Clearance or final sale items (unless faulty)
  • Products damaged through misuse or improper handling

6. Refunds

If your refund is approved, it will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible.

Please allow 3–10 business days for the funds to appear in your account, depending on your payment provider.

Shipping fees are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product.

7. Exchanges

We are happy to exchange products where stock is available if:

  • The incorrect item was supplied.
  • The item is faulty.
  • The product qualifies under Australian Consumer Law.

Change-of-mind exchanges are subject to product availability.

8. Return Shipping

If the return is due to:

  • Our error
  • A defective product
  • A damaged item

We will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

For change-of-mind returns, customers are responsible for return postage.

We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot accept responsibility for returns lost in transit.

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before dispatch by contacting our customer support team as soon as possible.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled and will instead be subject to this Returns & Refund Policy.

Pre-order cancellations may be subject to applicable terms and conditions.

10. How to Request a Return

To request a return:

  1. Contact our customer support team.
  2. Provide your order number.
  3. Explain the reason for the return.
  4. Attach photographs if the item is damaged or incorrect.
  5. Wait for return approval before sending any items back.

Returns sent without prior approval may not be accepted.

11. Inspection of Returned Items

All returned products are inspected upon arrival.

Refunds or exchanges will only be processed once the returned item has been received and assessed.
